Even prophets reach the point of wanting to quit. Like Jeremiah and Elijah, they face seasons of exhaustion and doubt, yet God still knows where to find the weary and remind them that rest is allowed, but the calling remains.

The New Testament prophet is not called to mediate like the prophets of old. Under the new covenant, their responsibility is to build up the church through encouragement, correction, prayer, and example. This post outlines nine responsibilities that help prophetic voices walk in humility, guard the purity of God’s word, and always point people back to Christ.

To be consecrated is to be set apart, marked, and designated by God for His use. Prophets are called before they are known, and they are preserved through a life of obedience, purity, and devotion. Consecration may cost comfort, but it protects the prophet’s voice and keeps them aligned with God’s will.
