Even prophets reach the point of wanting to quit. Like Jeremiah and Elijah, they face seasons of exhaustion and doubt, yet God still knows where to find the weary and remind them that rest is allowed, but the calling remains.

The New Testament prophet is not called to mediate like the prophets of old. Under the new covenant, their responsibility is to build up the church through encouragement, correction, prayer, and example.
